The college has a separate library block which is central in its location.
The college library, now named as Ameer-i-Kabeer Library started functioning
in the year 2017 from its own campus and currently holds a collection of nearly
6000 books including text and reference content. The library has a rich collection
and caters to the needs of more than thousand students. The collection has material
on English, Urdu, Arabic, History, Mathematics, Economics, Political Science, Education,
Sociology, Environmental Science, Commerce, Computer Applications, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry
and Physics . Besides these, the library provides reference material for career advancements
(Civil Services & other competitive exams) and also has books penned down by local authors
as well. The library provides reprographic services where students can get their study
material printed and copied at minimal charges. The Library also has a browsing section
where students can browse at their own ease. Besides this, the college library subscribes
to many state and national newspapers and magazines to keep the students abreast with
latest developments in the current world. The library is working on the automation
process for efficient management and delivery.
The library will be open to all during working days from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The issue return counters shall close two hours before the closing of the library.
Personal belongings such as bags, books etc are not allowed inside the library.
Borrowers shall satisfy the physical condition of the books before leaving the issue return counter.
The reference material/periodicals shall not be issued, however the same can be studied in the Reading room.
Silence shall be strictly observed in the library.
A student who loses his/her Identity Cards shall immediately make a written report to the Principal or Librarian.
A duplicate Identity Card shall be issued on payment under rules.
He shall be required to sign an indemnity bond and shall be responsible for the misuse of the lost Identity Card.
Books on loan shall have to be returned at the expiry of the fifteen days from the date of the issue.
Students who failed to return books on due date shall be fined Re 1 per day per book. Similarly,
the employee will be charged Re 2 per day per book.

Has done her post graduation in Library and Information Science from University of Kashmir.
She has Qualified NET as well as JRF conducted by UGC and has also qualified JK SET conducted
by University of Kashmir. She has published many research papers and book chapters in reputed
national and international journals and has presented papers in national and international
conferences. She has also attended various workshops conducted by different agencies. Her
research areas of interest include Open Access (Open Educational Resources [OER], MOOC’s),
Information and Technology, Peace & Conflict.
